All of our therapists are Licensed Clinical Social Workers, accredited and recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the CSWE Office of Social Work Accreditation (OSWA). They are certified in Seminar Training in Field Instruction (SIFI).

Customized Off-Site Outreach

Solace House offers unique intervention to suicide prevention programs by bringing our services directly to off-site organizations that have been affected by the suicide of a work colleague, member, or associate.

Our outreach programs are customized for each group, and focus on informing attendees about Solace House individual and group services. We provide psychoeducation about suicide prevention; answer participant questions; facilitate the sharing of feelings/thoughts/mutual support of the attendees; and offer individual counseling services at Solace House for those who are interested. 

Awareness Events & Trainings 

We offer free community awareness workshops to any organization interested in learning about suicide prevention.

Our workshops can be tailored to meet the group’s specific needs and focus on educating members of the public to learn about—and identify—the signs and symptoms of suicide and depression, and provide the tools and language to actively reach out to someone who is in suicidal distress or at risk of self-harming.

By training the public, we are empowering our community to help prevent suicides and empowering individuals to become vital links between our life-saving services and someone in need.
